I was in the market for a Wixey Digital Angle Gauge, but while shopping at MLCS online, I found a "new item" - their Digital Angle Rule. Since the rule appeared to have more functionality than a Wixey gauge alone, and retails for a few bucks less than a Wixey gauge ($34.99), I picked one up. It functions as a protractor. Well they came! Sears item 22219 Wide Table Leg Kit for Craftsman model 22811 table saws. Now to refresh the memory of those that don’t recall, the 22811 was a Ryobi BT3000 table saw, with a Craftsman label on the front, and a different hand wheel. I've been using this paint remover on my house with good results. It spins a 4.5 inch (scotch brite type material) disk. Paint & bondo are easily removed & feathered (doesn't seem to dig or gouge the wood). This tool is available internet or catalog only for $33 & $6 for replacement disks. At first glance, the Ryobi P150 Fuel Gauge might seem like a frivolous device, but after five months of use, I find it a very useful part of my cordless tool set. Yesterday(8-8-09) I pulled the trigger on Kreg's band saw fence assembly. I expected Kreg's usuall attention to quality and detail and was not disappointed. A missing 5/16" 1/4" drive shallow Craftsman socket from my set drove me to Sears at Baybrook Mall in Houston. At first I wasn't exactly sure what I'd use this little tool for, but I quickly became a fan while I was building a new bathroom. The saw looks like a miniature reciprocating saw. It's very compact and has a short stroke which is advantageous when working in tight areas. In my opinion, working in confined areas is this saw's strong point. No Kool-Aid I owned a shop-full of pretty decent individual tools when I had the opportunity to buy a like-new Shopsmith MK5 for $250. I own this saw. It is a good one. Nice shallow depth for a 12" slider (vs. other saws of a similar price point). I now use mine on a stationary bench. I picked this up for my Jet JJ-6CSX jointer. Installation wasn't tough, but I did need to go to the auto parts store to get a pulley puller to swap the bearings. This isn't required for all jointers, but is for mine. There was no documentation to explain this (or anything), but Sunhill answered the phone and helped me quickly when I called them.
