This setup uses an old Jig Saw and a 3/4” thick plywood router mounting plate. The mounting plate is cut and relieved to hold the base of the jig saw against the underside of the BT3K accessory table. Since this was a spare jigsaw, it is permanently mounted in the plate with adhesive. Different saws will require different cutting and relieving and could conceivably be mounted with screws and nuts to facilitate removal from the plate. Thus, there are no drawings with this file, just some pictures to show the finished product. I used a curved sink tail pipe screwed to the mounting plate to provide a shop vac hose connection point. I used masking tape to enclose the space between the saw and the pipe to further enhance the dust pickup. Note the steel washers epoxied to the mounting plate to provide crush protection when the jig is bolted to the BT3K table.
