HF had their 67421 3 piece tool chest on sale for $149 Thanksgiving weekend and I have been looking at that model for some time. I recently purchased this scanner to check lumber prior to planing and am very pleased with its performance and quality. I realize its from China, but hey what isn,t nowadays. Overall its very sensitive and easily scans a width of 8 inches. A missing 5/16" 1/4" drive shallow Craftsman socket from my set drove me to Sears at Baybrook Mall in Houston.
