the cat was ejected and having 500 involuntary muscles luckily landed on his feet virtually unhurt. He dashed to the highway and held out his paw to flag down a ride, and the first to stop for him was...

serial cat killer, who invited him into his truck for a ride. The cat not knowing about this killer happily jumped into the truck. The driver offered the cat cigs, and Tequila which the cat was more than happy to take. The driver took off down I-498, with the cat drinking and smoking away.

But the guy was speeding, and a state police officer.........

pulled them over. Once the cop walked up to the window he immediately saw the drunk cat and recognized the cat for being wanted on numerous warrant violations, and a large reward for his capture, dead or alive (preferably dead all 9 of them!!).

But try as he might to capture the cat, the cat.......

would stagger into things. This made the cop laugh, and forget for a second that he had to arrest the cat. Finally the cop was able to pull himself together to get the handcuffs on all 4 paws of the the cat, and 1 around the waist for good measure.

It looked for certain that the cop was going to take the cat in, but the driver of the car couldn't bear the thought of possibly losing another victim........

So the driver told the cop, I now about the reward money, and I see your having trouble with the cat. Let me do both of us a favor and save the tax payer millions in trial costs.

But the cop didn't trust him, thinking that he might wind up with the reward money. So the cop refused the offer, only to have the......

realization that being a cop he was not eligible for the reward. So he decided to take the guy up on his offer.

The deal was that the guy was going to shoot the cat. But he wanted it to be a game, like all the others. He insisted on taking the cuffs off the cat, and let him run, while he set his sights on the cat's back. But the cat was still drunk, and couldn't run. So they had to sober him up first. having just left the local donut shop, and being fully stocked with multiple cream filled sprinkle topped pastry delights, as well as several rather grande cups of strong caffinated coffee like beverage...

began pouring the liquid down the cat's throat. But it brought unexpected results, and the cat not only sobered up, but ran in a zigzag pattern, thereby eliminating any targeted shots. When he was long out of sight......
