This is staggering news, and like many of the others I cannot find the words to express what I am feeling. My heartfelt condolences to Kyle and to the rest of Monte's family.

Kyle, you were very lucky to know much more intimately the man we all loved and respected here in our small family. He was a true class act.

Monte will be sorely missed here too. Our hearts are saddened today

if we can help, just say the words....

I was only blessed to know you through your posts for just a short while, but you enriched so many of our lives and you will be sadly missed.

My condolences to Kyle and your family.

Indeed, Monte will be missed. I never met him in person, but I shall remember his patient answers to all my questions, not to mention his wicked sense of humor. Kyle, you and your family are in my thoughts.

I never had the pleasure to meet Monte. I wish I had. He always came across as as a kind fellow with big heart. You tend to only miss the good things when they are gone. I will miss Monte.
