There is nothing i can say that hasn't already been said, Kyle. Just know that you have a family here anytime you need someone to talk to.

Sam came in this morning and told me of our loss. Losing someone you love is a very hard thing. I am actually getting ready to go to the funeral of a dear friend of my family. My prayers will be with all of Monte's family and friends. He will be very much missed around our little community here. He had many great words of wisdom he was always so generous to give.

Life is very precious. Live every day as if it is your last. Make sure you tell the ones you love everyday that you love them.

I know I'm just a newbie here and didn't get a chance to know Monte or share ideas with him too much. That said, he was one of the first to welcome me aboard in this forum and he even responded to a joke I posted last week. By reading some of his postings, I could tell he was a caring person, willing to help, and obviously had a passion for keeping busy while doing something he loved.
My heart and prayers go out to him and his family. Adele is so right when she says that "life is very precious, make sure you tell the ones you love everyday that you love them". I think one of the most beautiful songs ever written is a song by Garth Brooks called, "If tomorrow never comes" which just says it all about life. Good bye Monte and God bless you.

                    Dear Kyle,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know he will be missed. However, every time you are in his shop or your shop, you will remember him and what he taught you. That is a wonderful legacy.

                    Good Luck,

                    Tom Scanio

wow. i am truly sorry for your loss.

being only about 1.5 hours away from Monte, i always felt a connection with him. tough. i never thought someone on a forum, who i have never even spoken directly to, when he passed would bring a tear to my cheek. you will be missed, Monte. May God bless your family and friends through a tough time.

I'm sorry to hear of Monte's passing. I'll have you and his whole family in my prayers
Being older than Monte, his passing just reenforces the fact that life is fleeting and we should make the best of it while we are here. I'm glad he was in his shop doing what he loved when his time came. May it be so for all of us.
                            God bless,
