I've had a good weekend but no big projects. Friday we were off and I changed the oil on the Zuk, helped the wife rearrange the junk in the garage for a major improvement, hauled all the "we don't need it" junk from the garage to the dump, got a recall done on the Zuk, and determined that the irrigation pump controller was bad and there was an extra outlet in the doghouse the pump is in (a significant find since we have no other outlet in the back). The outlet let me put the boat batteries on the charger (without pulling them). Saturday I first ordered a new controller for the pump from Amazon then found one I liked better at Lowe's for only $5 more. Amazon accepted the cancelation and the controller went on OK. It actually quit working but after I pulled it the silly thing started working again. It has a 6 year warranty so we'll see. We also went shopping for a dock box but decided we like one at Amazon better than what we can find locally. I need to order that. Today was church then steaks for lunch with wife and kids, then my son checked the brakes on the Zuk for me. I bought new shoes and pads but we didn't need them. Over 95K miles and most of the pads and shoes is still there. They probably have another 100K in them. I tow occasionally with it but the manual transmission helps a lot.
I need to take the pads/shoes back and figure out how I will spend the gift cards I got for Fathers day. I'm mostly taking the day off.
