If you can, please hold off on the donations until the new fund drive campaign is announced, we are working on some issues in the background. We greatly appreciate your continued support, and participation.

A lot of that may depend on how the site is hosted, and how much space is needed, and the bandwidth required.

A new branded vBulletin license can run from $200 to $500 depending on the options. I don't think we've got any other paid add ons. We might need a skin if we can't customise one ourselves.

Hosting, not sure what that will run. I pay $25 for a couple sites on a shared server and have space and bandwidth to spare. I don't know what BT3 needs.

There's probably a little bit of money from the ads coming in, I doubt it is much though judging by the traffic on the site.

Things are tight for me right now, but I will be sure to go in for something once the new drive is announced. I don't come here as often as I used to, and I had a VERY long break - but it's good to have BT3 when you need it.

I can't remember how I got to this site, but even though I've never owned a BT3, I'm glad I did! This is the first place I go to every day.

Been doing the $10/month through PayPal the past couple of years. I assume that's still working and will continue to work for a while?

It will continue to work for awhile. I have done the same since 07.
It will need to be changed though once we setup the new site.
I'll let you know how I accomplish that at a later time.
In the meantime, those payments will still go to Sam.
I want to make sure that he is also reimbursed for his out of pocket until the site changes over. It is a considerable amount.

I am a freelance PHP/MySQL programmer, and would be willing to donate some time to help. I like it here, and would like this place to stay around.

I do web hosting, and depending on how much space and bandwidth you need I can supply it as a donation or at very little cost.

I lease 8 dedicated servers that mirror each other in pairs

I have a total of 500Gb space available and 2500Gb of bandwidth per month.

Let me know if you are interested, a domain transfer isn't that difficult unless your with GoDaddy which makes life miserable for a lot of hosts not buying from them, although if you've made no changes in the last 30 days to your account, ICANN says they can't stop a transfer.

Google "vbulletin hosting" and you will find cut-throat hosting vendors that will provide free technical support and help with database migration issues, etc. May also want to check at vbulletin.org and/or .com and find out if there are recommended hosting providers that provide this level of service and support.

I will also pledge more money. Let me know when the new pledge drive starts. This saw and this site rekindled my interest in wood working. At the time I didn't have the space or money for a larger saw. With the help of people on this site I have a great hobby. Thanks
