Is it just me or there is there really not a lot of things happening around here. No disrespect, whatsoever. I spend a lot of time just being a silent reader, and replies sometimes. Right now, I don't see that much activity.
Is this site still active?

it's been quiet.
We have some regulars but its quiet Because we have readers who lurk and don't post anything.
Why don't you tell us about yourself, your shop, or your interests, your tools
perhaps, and some examples of your work or
maybe what you'd like to see or build?
Are you still in Houston?
I post stuff like this: a router stand to park your router while the bit is spinning down or so it won't be damaged by contact?

A couple of times a day for me also (for checking in here). Nothing going on at home for me at the moment but I am filling in for a number of ministers who are, or have been, taking a week or so vacation since mid July and I will be filling in through Aug 31, except the weekend of the 24th.
That said, this next Wednesday, I will be going to my daughter's home between Springfield, MO and Branson. I will be cutting a couple of her dead ash trees and getting some"turning wood". Then LOML and I will be spending the weekend of the 24th celebrating our 56th Anniversary.Hank Lee

The site usually slows down a bit in the summer when people are off doing non-shop things.
No shop time for me as both of my primary clients have major finance initiatives running at the same time so I'm on 60-70+ hour weeks and will likely be doing that until year end. The new tax bill means I also need to revamp depreciation configuration for a dozen other clients before the end of the year. I'll stop there before I go off on a political rant.
There have been a few minor releases of the software the site runs on and I haven't had time to do more than glance at the release notes. There won't be any updates until next year.Chr's

It is good to get replies from everyone! Kudos to the mods for this forum as well. More power and hopefully it'll ramp up soon!👍 1Comment

In the past this was always a warm and welcoming group - we've shrunk a lot from our heyday but there's still a few regulars.
The BT3 series of saws was once a central theme but as its been out of production for almost 20 years our focus has shifted although it is still a go-to site for people acquiring preowned Ryobi BT3 series saws
