BT3x00 upgraded aluminum fence roller and pin.

So the eBay seller noteck1 that has the clamper bracket, loaded clamper brackets, machined aluminum miter fence brackets etc... also has a listing for the machined aluminum fence rollers and steel axle pins that they use on the loaded assemblies. You can save a chunk if your clamper is good by just odering the bracket and roller and get them to combine shipping.

I am not certain if this is going to be a regular stock item, so if you are interested grab em while you can...

I recently purchased the unit from Amazon mentioned above for this and overall it was a good purchase, though I will say that you have to modify the black latch by bending it down so that it will fit over the profile of the rear rail. It was not hard other than having to disassemble and reassemble a few times until I got the bend just right. I think this was a design oversight as it should have had a small bend at the flange that was not present.

How much did you have to bend it downward? Before I/we add much more, it would be helpful if you included a picture of how it fits - which might show why you had to bend the tab.

The bottom lip of part "6" below slips over the rail when the front lever is raised. Once the roller at the rear seats on the rail, then pressing the lever down in the front, the lip slides under the edge of the rail and locks it into position.

One more unrelated note to this and sometimes misunderstood: The fence is originally lined up a tiny bit off from 90°. When the lever goes down, it pulls into perfect alignment. However since you have had it apart, Re-alignment becomes necessary. This is discussed in the manual. If you need a copy, several of us have PDF copies on our computers, just ask.

twistsol I updated your article to include the manuals for the Craftsman 22811 and 21829 variants as well. I believe there was another Canadian version but I don't recall the item #.
