I note the TS is showing as out of stock at this time. The blade is in stock and if I orderd it today I would have it tomorrow (Prime Member).
Got my saw on Thursday, love it in every way
However Amazon is showing the original saw I ordered 30" as delivered Also :-(
I refused delivery and now am on the phone with them trying to get my $900 back...

I am in the same boat, or a similar one anyway--after sending them a bunch of emails and talking to them on the phone to cancel the original order, they themselves decided to "recall" the shipment (I have it in email) and so I didn't have to refuse it, but I don't see my money coming back yet either! Sent them an inquiry about it today; let's compare notes later.

Unlike the rest of ya I am in no hurry to get this huge thing on my doorstep--don't really have a place to put it yet!
      Never met a bargain I didn't like.

So did you mount the router on the inboard end and put a cross-piece under the table to attach the legs? I went to assemble mine the other day and there was no fence rail hardware (and the extension table was chipped). WMH is sending the replacement parts, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be up and running.

I think so...basically I flipped the extension table around so that the router insert is on the closer side to the blade (from some good advice from Larry). I then glued and screwed the ripped 2x4 piece on the underside on the far right end of the table, allowing the legs to be mounted to the side of it and sit properly inside the base...

That looks like the best way to me, too-- easier than adding a piece of angle to the end of the base, and you have more table to work with for the router.

So now the $64K question-- how did you align the splitter? I'm spoiled; compared to the BT3K, there is high vacuum in this design. The two allens inside the cabinet are a PITA to get to, esp. with the blade on for alignment, and the outside shaft rotates when you adjust the inside bracket.

Edit: Never mind-- procedure is pretty straightforward. The allens in the cabinet are still a major pain, though.

Agreed...so far, thats the only thing I miss about my BT3K is the riving knife. I'm not a fan of the splitter design. I'll post seperately in Tool talk to see if anyone has any solutions...

Attention: if you want to buy or already bought the Delta mobile base it is now on sale 20% off. Amazon should reduce your price already paid.

This saw is incredible, accurate as **** and makes wood working a pleasure I am building cabinets for our kitchen and the saw is more than I could have expected. Thanks Jeff for the original post!!!

Glad you got yours! I ended up with 5hp Delta Uni X5 I caught on sale because my Jet (which one of the first ordered) would never ship!

Those are great saws and was a once in a life time deal.
