Pretty much. I would do it, but that tells you nothing!

Is your shop a garage with a garage door? If yes, then you can install the TS near the door and open the door for longer cuts. Of course that applies to either 30" or 50" and really doesn't have anything to do with your question. See? I told you I was crazy.

Ok, had to pull the trigger!

Darn! Got so excited I forgot to add the free Freud blade! Got to get that corrected!

Wife caught me placing the order. "Why are you buying another saw? Is there something wrong with the 600lb saw they delivered the other day?"

Anyone want to buy a tricked out 22124 with router table and lift?

EDIT: WHY IS SHIPPING WEIGHT 404 LBS? THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT.

DOUBLE EDIT : LOOKS LIKE THERE WILL BE A ROUTER UPGRADE IN MY FUTURE AS WELL. BASED UPON PHOTOS OF JET 708124 XLIFT IT SHOWS PC7518 ROUTER MOUNTED. ANYONE HAVE ANY COMPATIBILITY INFO ON THIS LIFT?

TRIPLE EDIT: FENCE, RAILS, SAW, TABLE LEGS, TABLE AND ROUTER LIFT ALL SHIP SEPERATE! I BET THAT ANSWERS MY 404LB QUESTION.

QUAD EDIT : APPEARS THIS LIFT WILL ACCEPT ABOUT DARN NEAR ANYTHING! CONFIRM DW 621 AND BOSCH 1617 AND PC 7518.

        NICE REVIEW OF SIMILAR PACKAGE . .. . .

        http://www.woodcentral.com/bparticles/Jet_Review.pdf

I FORGOT ABOUT JET CHECKING ARBOR RUN OUT, ETC AND PUTTING SPECS WITH MACHINE. THAT IS COOL.

SUPER CRAZY 5TH EDIT : I WONDER IF THEY ARE CLOSING THESE OUT FOR THE NEW JET WITH RIVING KNIFE? MAN THIS IS SUCH A STEAL. LOOKING AT JETS FLYER THEY SAW WITHOUT THE LIFT IS ON SALE FOR $1599!

Well, you are now a marked man Mr. Schronce Why? 'Cause you convinced me to spend a pile of money on a saw I really don't need.

Don't lose any sleep over it.

I found a used Powermatic this morning and was planning on seeing it this afternoon, except that I never got a call back from the owner. Meanwhile, this thread. The PM was $800 but I'd have to rent a truck and get some help to move it. By the time all was said and done, a new Jet wasn't much more.

Now I have to clean up the garage to make room, then find an electrician to install 220.

You guys are making it really tough, especially with the 14 page review of the saw Jeff found. I don't need a new table saw that's for sure but the deal is so good it's hard to resist. I'm hoping amazon raises the price on the 50"er soon, not sure I can be strong and resist temptation much longer.........the fiance is gonna kill me.

Hey, for those that had the 30" ship and you are refusing, what was the deal with shipping? Was liftgate included? I have a friend who is asking. UPS/Overnight ususally charges around $40 for liftgate when they schedule delivery. Something to think about when they call to schedule delivery.

I just ordered the 50"!! I couldn't stand it anymore, and LOML couldnt stand me talking about what a "once in a lifetime" deal it was....thanks for all the help and identifying this deal guys! Guess I've got to work on clearing room, getting an electrician in and selling my BT3.

Whats the best way to sell the BT3 locally? Classified?

Also - what accessories would you buy for this? Dado and Zero clearance?

Between all these JET purchases, Otter's and Sarge's Unisaws, Dustmight's 22124, and Keith's and my PM2000s -- and surely some others of which I'm not aware -- Sam may have to rename this place CabinetSawCentral. Or at least give all us Darksiders a section of our own.

My wife is pretty good about this sort of thing. I tolerate her hobbies and she tolerates mine. But then she asks if I'm keeping the BT3. Um, no. Gotta sell it to make room and pay for the Jet.
