I'm pretty excited in the fact that I've been searching and scrounging the Phoenix area for the last month and finally today came up with a store that I found three of them and bought them all.
All the employees told me that they didn't have any and that they were no longer available. One store's manager looked up in their system all the stores from Tucson to Flagstaff and told me there weren't any at all anywhere.
Today I wandered into a Home Depot on the way home from Rocklers to buy the on sale $69.00 Ryobi CMS and asked yet one more time for the lifts. After looking up the SKU# the guy said there were only two and that they were at a store only a couple miles down the street.
Being it was New Year's eve there weren't a lot of people or help in the store, I took my time and studied the overheads. I got yelled at and instructed not to climb the mobile ladder steps even, but it paid off. I found the two plus a third.
I know I'm gloating a little, but sure was a nice way to end 2006.
The moral to the story, don't give up, there still may be a few more out there.
