      I ordered one too. Amazing...

This baby is going into the router table (once I build it). This is the best deal yet.
      Thanks,
      Pete

        What is better:
Hitachi 10" laser CMS for $90 or Dewalt 703 CMS for $120?
I can use a CMS and the code seems to work on either.

If it seems to good to be true ...

I would suggest that no one get his hopes up too much. This is all an obvious computer problem, and my guess is that all the involved orders will be cancelled.

And they'll be well within their rights to do so. It's one thing if a vendor does not honor the stated terms of a promotion. But here the system is applying discounts that are clearly in excess of the promotions' terms.

Larry, I totally agree and won't be shocked if the orders get canceled. But, if I get that lathe for $90 and the check for free, I won't complain. It doesn't hurt to try.

Wow. I also have a Hitachi on the way. Its status is Shipping Soon (Can't be Changed). Hopefully that is true. The little handheld Bosch router would have been $30, but I decided to order the in stock items for more likelyhood of getting it shipped at that price.

I was curious, so I tried the code again a few minutes ago and it is dead for under $420 discounts. I'm glad I caught it when I did.

Pension? What's a pension? Never had one, likely never will.

Unfortunately the world HAS changed and only old-line companies maintain pensions these days. And said old-line companies are having lotsa issues keeping up.

                  Heck I don't even get a 401K match.

I belive Larry is correct, you can only use the code once per account.

I have three accounts though, and realized yesterday while the board was down that the code works on just about anything, and went ahead and ordered 3 items, all wiht the 80.00 off.

All of them are waiting to ship, and cant be changed. I did choose in stock items.

It looks as though they will go through, who knows, they might get caught.

I ordered the Freud 13 piece 1/2" router set for 130.00(wasnt sure about this, but i never had a good set), the dewalt round head framing gun for 159.00 including free carpenters belt, and the kreg K3 master kit for 59.00.

Actaully while typing this, i just recieved shipping conformation for the K3 master kit showing the following, so i guess this one has slipped through!

The following items were included in this shipment:
                    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
                    Qty Item Price Shipped Subtotal
                    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
                    1 Kreg Jig K3MS K3 Master Syste $139.00 1 $139.00

                    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
                    Item Subtotal: $139.00
                    Shipping & Handling: $9.99

                    Super Saver Discount $-9.99
                    BMSM OPT 420 $-80.00

                    Sales Tax: $4.90

                    Total: $63.90

                    Paid by Visa: $63.90

Just a heads up, that some of the orders might make it, and Amazon needs to get there programmers up to speed!

After the hassle of having to argue over the free recip saw offer with three different reps, and having to wait for my credits to show, i dont feel too bad about these deals

                    Jesse

I just finished placing my third order (different email accounts)with the code and selected regular shipping ($10) so they would ship them sooner. What I noticed is if you us the free shipping, they will ship when "they aren't busy" with higher priority orders.

So this third order of DC accessory stuff and brad nails (which qualify!?!?!?) will ship tomorrow at the latest for the whopping total of $14. The tubing and chuck I ordered is scheduled for next week, and the lathe is scheduled for next month.

I posted this on the Porter Cable 557 Plate Joiner thread, but i'll post it here too. I ordered the Porter Cable 557 Plate Joiner for $118 plus there is a $30 rebate on that which brings it to ~$88.

I ended up ordering the Woodworker I thin kerf (1/8, 60 tooth). I'll keep my Freud blade for rip cuts etc.

The stiffener is being shipped now, but the blade is on back order - so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they don't catch the error and cancel it..

Well, flame me if you want.
Taking a discount you know you aren't entitled to is not the right thing to do.
This is just my humble opinion, but I can look at my ugly mug in the mirror and know I haven't taken advantage of someones error.
