Now here is a precision tool

I thought I had seen enough that nothing ever would make me sit and just blink anymore.

What amazes me is that the person that thought that idea up is actually drawing a salary somewhere.

      That's really funny.

I wonder if it might actually aid to make a straighter cut though?

I can think of a bunch of folks who would by such a thing and they still wont be able to cut straight.

            Uh...

How the heck do I respond to that?

So you say that people actually get paid for coming up with crackpot ideas like that?

I could totally do that job.

In a way, I'm not surprised. We are in some type of tool craze where manufacturers are slapping lasers on everything.
About a year ago, my dad and were walking through HD and he saw a skil saber saw with a laser guide on it. He was commenting how it was cool, I didn't say anything. I mean since a saber saw is primarily meant for cutting curves and such, that straight pointing laser line won't do ya much good.
The best part was, not 15 minutes later we are talking to one of the tool guys at HD and he was saying how stupid the laser was on that saber saw. My dad just kinda stood there with a dumb look on his face. I didn't bother rubbing it in
Next were gonna have laser hack saws, laser chisles, laser hammer to keep you from hitting your thumb maybe??
Laser toilet plunger, "you can't miss". I would like a laser guided coffee cup, so I don't miss my mouth in the morning.
Also, my 5 bladed razor that I use to shave my face....you got it, laser guided.

I never miss the toilet... I hit the front of it, both sides, and even the back of it...

Where do you think the term "saturation bombing" came from??

I was thinking along similar lines. Soon to be appearing on the shopping channel.

                    The laser guided....

Carving knife - At thanksgiving everybody gets their slice of breast the same thickness
vacuum cleaner - ensures you get every bit of that carpet

and of course the revolutionary and world changing

Laser guided pen. Can't find your rule, you'll never need it again with the BONCO Laser Guided Pen, just follow the light and get a straight line every time.

Only $19.99 and the first 5million callers get a matching Laser Guided Pencil absolutley free.

I bet you would get a lot of calls and buyers for that product

OK, bored a bit by the debates.

Here's some ideas, if you make a fortune, remember me a little bit...

                            Laser guided scissors
                            Laser aimed flyswatter
                            Laser aimed hammer
laser guided remote control (helps you point to the TV)
                            Laser guided presidential candidate.
                            Loring in Katy, TX USA
If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

I love the bugswatter idea, if it could also come with a holddown to stop the dang things from flying away I would buy one tomorrow.
