From the amazon link you give, if you click on technical details, the saw draws 9.6 Amps at 230V. That means, wired for 120V, it will want to draw up to 19.2 Amps. That doesn't mean it won't run on a 15Amp cicruit, but that it may trip the circuit breaker before it develops full HP during a heavy cut. If you keep the loads low, then you can run it on a 120V, 15A circuit, safely, you just can't get full power from the saw before the breaker trips.

Anyway, theoretically, you should be putting this on a 12 ga. wired, 20A 120Vcircuit with a matching 20A breaker..
And not using a NEMA 5-15P plug and receptacle, but a NEMA 5-20P with one blade vertical and the other horizontal.

Have it plugged into a dedicated 20A breaker using 12awg solid wire. Should I get 20A plug instead then?

yes, that would the the RIGHT thing to do. A NEMA 5-20P plug.

      one like this:

      http://www.amazon.com/NEMA-5-20P-125...9924713&sr=8-2

The above was the professional opinion.

I think I recalled you said you put in the 20Amp receptacles when you did your rewiring project?
I personally would look carefully at the 20A plug and receptacles at the store. to handle more current they would have to have beefier prongs, more tighter spring retention and heavier screw terminals. If they're really not heavier duty in those regards, its almost like, why bother. OTOH, the personal sense to do it right, and if you have to buy a new plug, then just get the 20Amp and be done with it. So the personal opinioon, is to put the right plug on it, too.
