BT3000 Belts

Hey all... I was reffered to this site by my brother. I recently purchased a used BT3000 that was missing the belts. The cheapest I can come up with is $30 a belt. WOW. Does anyone know of a less expensive source for belts?

Yes.... He owns the same saw, but after talking with him he feels that $30 is a bit high and recommended this forum for a better source.

I think I got mine from sears. They were not $30. I bought an extra set and I don't think I paid that much for 4.

Amazon shows them for $19.99 each with $9.98 shipping (same cost to ship 2, which would be a good thing...)

For my lathe I had luck at the hardware store. No idea if they'd have the belts for the saw though.

Not likely since lathes use a standard V belt. The BT-3x has belt unique to the saw.

Love my saw, BTW. It was funny, earlier this year I was in MD visiting and my brother called, said he just bought a table saw, needed help moving it. So I show up and son-of-a-gun if it wasn't a BT3K in really good shape. He got a great deal on it.

That seller has a lot of B3xxx parts, as he suggests in his listing it's good to e-mail him before clicking buy it now. Just sayin'. Good guy with a sharp pencil.
