    I want a BT3100

I came into some unexpected money and I would like to buy a BT3100 in really good shape. I found the dvd that comes with the saw and I really want the saw.

I live in East Texas, Mt Enterprise 75681.

    Please email me at johneduck@eastex.net

    Thanks old folks

Suggest that you keep your eyes on CraigsList listings in your area.

As Uncle says CL is your best bet. Having just checked out Mt Enterprise on the map you arent really close to any of the major CL centers but the Dallas/FW area would be your best bet. There are a couple of BT3000s listed there right now. At what I would guess is a 300+ mile round trip you would have to add $60-70 for gas alone. If you added that to your budget could you get something new locally?

        There's always the Sears version

There is always the Sears version of the BT3100 on the portable stand. Its a bit pricey (around $450) but available. I saw a model on display at the Longview Mall Sears this weekend.

Sign up for Craftsmans Club and wait (might take a while) for a sale you can get things down to about $300.

Like the others are saying, you are in the same boat I am. Just get into the Craftsman club, and wait for the coupons and sales on the 21829 to get its price down around $300.00 and snatch one...

I just came across one in Arkansas that I have bought, without something to carry it in,

and am getting it back to Jonesboro to see what I am going to do with it. Bill
