Well.... I guess I was bored

I made this to make make life easier for my neck. I had a double discectomy earlier this year.... and the height of my computer is a big culprit.

Kind of embarrassed putting this up with other stuff.

It was made from pallet wood I had sitting around.

All I can find in old pallets seems to be cheap pine thirds. You have some Oak there.

Yup. Pallet I used was found at a beer distributor. They need to be stronger. As you can see, it’s knotty. Doesn’t really bug me.

It's functional and it's a creative use of basically throw-away material, so hard to beat that for utility. Nice job!

I haven't bought any wood in a while. I'm trying to work through the stuff I have including part of a $99 load of stuff we split three ways from Lumber Liquidators a few years ago.

Another electronics wood project. I wanted a way to have my iPad by my desk as both a photo frame and for easy access to messages and such.

I really like that. My ipad sits on the floor next to my desk becasue my home office was shoved into the old laundry room. That would be much handier and I would be less likely to step on it ... again.

Nice project. Out of curiosity, what's the purpose of the raised section off to the left of the laptop?
