I don't think that's a screen, I think its a perforated rubber anti-skid mat for working on ... where you don't want the piece to slide when routing or planing etc...

Looks to me like that rubberized liner you can get on a roll...for a drawer insert or a shelf liner (cuts with a scissors), or to keep stuff from sliding on your bench. Box stores sell it.

Beautiful work. Curious as to why the tenons needed to be haunched?
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

We've been on the search for a farmhouse sink like that. Is it vintage or did you buy it new? The prices of the new ones scare me.

The haunch basically fills in the groove that runs all the way around the inside frame edge. The groove accepts the panels, glass and the other munions? mullons, muttons, whatever you call them

It would add some strength and help with alignment too I suppose. Here are some shots of the mortise and a fuzzy pic of the end of the frame haunch with the groove filled in.

Farm sink: Oh that was fun.. I'll start a new thread for that one..

                Thanks!

It's not a screen but a rubber mat I put on the table saw to keep stuff from sliding around when I'm sanding or routing.

The haunch tenons were worth the extra effort in my opinion. Didn't take much longer than if I omitted them but I'll enjoy sturdy cabinets for a good long time. Plus I have kids so I know they'll take the abuse. Also got soft close Blum hinges so I don't have to hear them slam shut all the time.

Yeah if you knew the Mrs's installment plan you might not want me to build you anything

That is one incredible looking set of wall cabs. Want to come downstate and live with us while you re-do my kitchen. Me and the wife are great cooks.
Seriously, that's one wonderful job. Wish I could do big stuff like that.

I really, really like those. My wife has been wanting a new kitchen for years. I love the clean lines of the panels and the glass adds a killer affect.

Man, that is some fantastic work. Well done.

Bill, did you run into a logistics problem with what you were working on and the space needed for parts and completed pieces?

Thanks Bruce! By incredible coincidence I'm a great eater! Probably could work something out. Just a hop skip and a jump down 87.

Wasn't too bad. Once I finished the upper carcasses the went up on the kitchen wall so I could have room to build the lower carcasses and then they went in. I did the doors , drawers and face frames after that and brought them in from the shop as I completed them.

I had my thoughts of installing them in the shop but the wife wasn't gonna wait for me to build more..
