          Hi Guys,

Thanks for the input. Yes, that is a 15" Planer, and an 8" Jointer. I found a package deal on Craigslist for what you see in the picture.

I had a woodshop in my Basement, however, after I built a family room in the basement, the shop had to go. I have since overtaken the garage and am in the process of putting it back together again.

The cord was just to make a few test cuts with the saw. I am rewiring the garage to be used as a woodshop.

          I HATE the Curtains also

It is a work in progress, thanks for looking and for the suggestions!

I traded some things that I had lying around that I wasn't going to use and the person wanted. It was under 2K for the package. I was able to test the jointer and planer before I took them with some curly oak. Smooth as a babies bottom Since the DJ-20's sell for what I paid for the lot, I thought I did good!

The curtains are going Guys! I am going to get some mini blinds.

                          John,
It is not clear from the picture but it looks like you have an earlier version of the BT switch (2 buttons) on your saw. If that is the case, then there is a recall on the switch. Call Ryobi to get a free replacement. Oh, BTW, welcome to BT3Central!

Might be... the subject bad switch was two pushbuttons, red and green Off and On. The good BT3000 switch was a red rocker under a black cover, you can push the cover to shut off the saw but have to lift the cover to turn the switch on. Last I heard they were still honoring this recall even though those switches were from the early 90's

You do have the early good all-metal elevation crank handle.

Looks like a nice example of a nearly fully equipped BT3000. You might want to get a copy of my FAQ (see sig line below) to tell you more about your accessories.

I say keep some sort of curtains or blinds in the window. You never know who is looking in your shop when you're not around. Things tend to turn up missing when people can see what toys you have.
