nope. battery was freshly charged. also i am used to variable speed drill. but i'll try again. i must be doing something wrong. for example i was initially putting force on the bit, but later i read somewhere that impact drivers don't need much force.

Yeah I have to agree with the others on this their must be something wrong.

Maybe you are very unlucky and have gotten multiple bad units.

Ive driven 6" lags without a pilot with the larger model and many 4" screws with the bosch driver.

BTW, I got a UPS package from Bosch yesterday. I quickly opened it anticipating my free PS20. Low and behold, I got 2 PS20's. Not sure why 2 were sent but I'm not complaining.

did you mail your receipt or a copy of it? I read in one place that they wanted the receipt then three other places it stated copy of the receipt. I sent them the copy... hope I didn't screw up...

Thanks OP. Picked up the last boxed one at North Charleston store. Though they did have the display and 2 ps-20s and 1 ps-10. I have the big Dewalt xrp 18v and the 9.6v rigid, so hopefully this will be a nice complement to those two.

I just picked up one at the North Chasrlestom store. There were three on an end cap near the appliances with other clearance items. Now there are two.

Thanks all for the tips. I picked up a PS40 at HD yesterday for $99. It was marked at $149 or $179, I can't remember which since there was a IDrive there too. The PS40 came with the flashlight. I never would have looked for that deal if not for this thread, so thanks again.
i als looked online and the price was not marked down and my store showed that they had none in stock. HD.com is pretty bad, and very slow as well.

I actually would have rather had the ps10, but alas it rang up for reg price of 149. Picked up one more ps40 in west ashley store today for pops and noticed n. charleston had one left on the end cap. Don't forget to mail the rebate by Tuesday!

PS-40 w/ Flashlight OK for rebate?

Has anybody who found a PS40-2 with the free flashlight submitted and received thier rebate? I'm going to send mine in, but I'd like to know before I do that Bosch will honor the rebate with the free flashlight. The UPC on the box has a sticker over it with a different UPC code, so Bosch will know that it came with a flashlight. The rebate form says the free PS20 is not valid with any other Bosch offer. Thanks.

Yes, and purchased on the 7th so I'm OK. I just haven't sent the rebate in yet (I have until the 31st).

Received my free PS-20 yesterday via UPS. Pretty quick turn-around time if you ask me.
fyi...My PS-40 came with a free holster, so the version with the free light should work as well. All of the UPC's are the same AFAIK, just bundled with different stuff.
