If you have a receipt then you are OK. If you are placing a new order, I can't ship free up north. A 1/2" shank set weighs 5 pounds which is $17.65 for airmail parcel post (4-10 days) so I just can't absorb it.

      Unfortunately so.

If anyone from the great north still wants to order despite the shipping, PM me and we'll work out the details being the shipping adder will not be available online.

Call me dense, but I don't get this ... I had already placed an order before this all came up and have a receipt ... so what does the above statement mean?

I have one of your old 20 bit set, and 35 bit set (or something like that). What is in this set that would be different if anything???

It means he isn't going to go back and retroactively charge you shipping.

I feel bad for taking the 2 dollar discount on this thing

IMHO, I don't think we should take or expect the additional $2 off. $20 for a 24 pc set in a box is an awfully good price. Just my opinion...

I am sure he realized that we would use the coupon as he put it on the site. I will be the first to offer it back to cover the extra cost incurred in trying to offer us a deal. $20 shipped is still the best deal out there.

                    Nothing

The 35 piece set has what you need except for 1/4" shank if you have a small trim router but looks like you have that covered too with the other set.

Only advantage for you would be more bits at a great price.

If I accepted an order prior to making the Canada shipping exclusion then I will honor the order and you will get your bits. My point was that if it costs $17.65 to ship and another $.80 or so for box and packing then I'm pretty far in the hole. I just ask that those reading this post after I made the Canada exclusion contact me if they are willing to pay the shipping.

This only applies for this offer, not regular business.

                          Two Dollar Discount

I can't turn down a great deal... that's why I should never check out this site. Never the less, I did order the 24 piece bit set. What a great deal was offered to us. Free shipping on top of it all. I did take the BT3 discount before the request not to use it, so I've sent $2.00 to Holbren to cover the discount. Now, I hope I intercept the package before loml sees it.

I also applied the %10 code on my order of two. I am supremely appreciative for having an opportunity to get in on what appears to be a great deal, so I want neither to disrespect the provider of said opportunity, nor to jeapordize the likelihood that he could share such an offer here in the future.

Holbren, you don't seem like the kind of guy to demand the discount back, nor one to cancel the order, so let me circumvent your good manners and ask you directly how best I could get the discounted funds back to you? I'll nickle and dime amazon all day long, but I don't feel right about this if it wasn't your intention with the special offer. If you can, take this as permission to charge the full $20 each on my order # 4192. If not, please let me know another way.

                            Thanks again.

Ah! ... PM sent ... but adding $15 to the $20 now takes it right back to the regular price for us (now no longer even a deal) ...

                                Brian,

I appreciate the already very generous offer and would also like to return the 10% off. My order number is #4188, please charge me the extra 10% or email me at jewalsh2k@gmail.com to let me know how best to do this. It is always important to me to support the smaller guys Vs the Amazons.

                                Cheers,

                                John Walsh
