Still two boxes in the overhead at the Rock Road BORG in St. Louis. They've never come down from when I bought my four. Should still be 90-something there.....

          Prediscount, watch for bargain!

          Welcome to this OLD thread!

I had to find it to bump it, as I think this is the same SKU. My local borg also had these back in at the $29 mark (is that some magical seasonal number?). They were in the center of the isle between the extension cords, and the landscape lighting. I am watching them for the markdown again and wanted to warn you all to keep your eyes peeled.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Same here in Lufkin TX. In a self standing display near the other extension cords. I thought I noticed a slight difference in the mid-line sockets, bigger/taller, so I don't know if they have the same SKU's or not. $29. I bought 3 of them last year for $10.49 and use them all the time. I have one mounted along the wall of my 1 car garage.

I was just looking at these yesterday when I was there. No special display, just shelf stock. I thought they said $39 or $49.

Thanks for heads up. The one i bought has come in real handy for the remodel work I've done. Another at $10 will be great.

                  Greg,

Seeing this thread reminds me how awesome these cords are. Thanks again for the heads up.

picked up 2 last year for $10 a piece, and now they are 4X's that.

Agreed! I had no idea what the regular price was when I started this thread last year or I would've bought a second one to dedicate to the garage wall as Scott did. I just called a friend of mine who works there to get an inventory count. I would imagine that if they have a large quantity on hand there planning on blowing them out again.

                      Not in San Jose area

I went to four stores... armed with reciepts and numbers.
Excuses like "other districts" blah blah.
They had them, but they run up at &35..
I need a process that saves driving to all the stores.

                        wan2,

this is a deal from last year. We're speculating that it may happen again.

I tried three HP, they each had some, but the price is $30.00, when I showed them the receipt with the sku number in this tread it jump to $35.
They are exactly the same , except at the end it has two different numbers.

                          No luck in So. California.

I didn't read through this whole thread, so I don't know if it has been mentioned before. I purchased a similar assembly last night at Sam's for $16 something. It was green and did not have lights at the outlets. I can't remember if it was 12ga either.

It was either 14 or 16 gauge. They were at Sam's last year, same time as well. I also saw them someplace else (one was 14 and one was 26 gauge). Not as heavy duty or as good for power tools.

                                12/3-Gauge 4-Outlet Extension Cord

I have given up on the 3 items I was interested in. The extension cord, the bosch drill and the four portamate mobile base. With gas at $3.60 a gallon, driving time and the trouble of waiting for a managers, to get a no answer has gotten to me, I probably spent more money than if I would it bought the items at retail and stil have change.

As I become stronger in physical shape and the art of negotiation, like the senior members of Bt3, hopefully I will have the stamina to not give up.

I do have to say, that the search that goes into this process and the high adreline can be great experience.

I notice that almost 10,000 people have seen this treat. Imagine If all 10,000e-mail HD and order 10,000 extension cords, would that bring down the cost?

The same goes with Amazon, send them 10,000 e-mails sharing our fustration with all the mumbo jumbo, and formulas that you need to go through to get a bargain.

Please let me know if this treat belongs here or another treat, but since we are talking about bargains and electrical cords, I imagine it is proper.
