    12/3-Gauge 4-Outlet Extension Cord

    25ft 12/3-Gauge 4-Outlet Extension Cord

A lighted outlet every 8 feet. Perfect for my remodeling needs

    $40 on Amazon
    $10 at the Borg

Two months ago the BORG had a few beat up ones on a clearence table for $14 marked down from $36. They looked like they had been under the trash compacter for a few years so I passed. Yesterday I walked in and there was an actual display of them, all new, for $10!

    YMMV,
    Greg

I called here and they need a SKU. Any chance you can post it?

I bought one of these when they were on clearance a couple months ago like Greg mentioned. I've got to say I love this thing & will buy another if my local BORG has them in stock now. $10 is a steal.

I'm in the process of adding onto my home and it's great to be able to plug this into one outlet and suddenly have four outlets spread across the room to work from. Tonight I was working in my basement addition where there's only one temporary outlet. I was able to plug this in on one end of the room and I was able to hook up my miter saw, drill press, table saw and shop vac, all comfortably spread around the room. Can't beat that.

They are amazing cords and used to be close to $50 at HD and are now $10.49 in the Detroit area.

I've had a few 14 ga versions that I bought at Sams club on clearance last year - but these are 12 and are so handy. $10.50 is an amazing price.

Thanks for the tip. Although my local store showed they had 24 of them, nobody had seen them nor could they find them. I called a buddy of mine, he found them near him and was able to get two for each of us.

My store's computer showed 48 but they couldn't find them either. They said they are probably on an unpacked pallet. I will try again tomorrow. I am trying to reclaim my garage and put in my workshop and they would be perfect.

Called up my local BORG (Oxnard, CA) and was told they had 40 of them, but that they were a "non-stock" item, priced at $10.49 each, HD SKU# 190-864. Armed with the SKU, I was able to find them on an overhead pallet in a rather tall box (maybe 4' high). The tag indicated that there were only eight of them, but I believe they are packed in boxes of five within a larger box of eight packs.

No one in the department had any idea that they had these, and had never heard of them. After I got my two extension cords, they closed everything back up and lifted them back on the overhead rack.

Let the treasure hunts begin!!! These may be some distance from the other electrical cords and may not give any clue as to what they contain, so search for the SKU. In my local store, no other item had a SKU in the area that started with "190", so this could speed up your search.

                  ...Scott

I'll try again tomorrow with the SKU number.

I called two local HDs here in Columbus, Ohio. Both had them in stock, but both quoted $34.98. Congrats to those who got a good deal on them.

                        finding cord display

The local BORG here set up an "impulse display" of related items that one might find useful in setting up outdoor christmas lights/displays. They had 2 of the pallet displays of these cords (and others) but no price sign on them. They scan at 10.49. They were NOT in the regular extension cord aisle.

                          BORG in "Algonquin"

Called and talked to a guy named John and he said that he shows in the computer that they have 18 of them but can't physically find them. On my way there now and see if I can help him find them.

Found mine at the miter saw display. Sign said $34 but it rang up for $10.
                            Thanks for the tip.

                              Look in the overhead areas.
