    Forum newbie

I guess because I'm a newbie I could only get my local Lowe's to price match +10.00 - my new Hitachi cost me 135 instead of the forum 125. I was smiling all the way home I've been following this thread for quite a while. Actually bought my BT3100 because of this forum (last September). But had to join just to say thanks for all the advice (and my new drill press). Does anyone have ideas on how to make this thing mobile (and stable at the same time)? It joins my BT3K, Grizzly G0550 bandsaw, Delta Planer, 6' workbench, and 4' lathe in my 12 X 12 shed. Everything has to be mobile!

I am a little pissed. My local wouldn't budge on this for 2 weeks. I go in over the weekend and the new one was gone and the floor model had a "Sold to" sign on it. Of course, I think the "sold to" is to a Lowes employee. And I still don't know what they sold for and maybe I don't want to know now. Just wish the manager would have taken my offer a week ago. Guess he didn't like me...LOL.
      Thanks,
      Pete

Have to sell the drill press

If you are in the Houston area, I haven't opened mine and have to sell it off - moving. $160 - including tax. Come on by!

I noticed they still had a floor display model in the Oaks, PA store. It didn't have a clearance sticker on it... so it was listed at $199. I don't know if they had more in stock or not.
