    A Near Miss!

Earlier this week I was ripping several 8’ long 2x4s, Lowe’s Spruce and kinda straight. I had already pulled the staples and tags with several staples breaking off. ALSO WEARING SAFETY GLASSES. Standing >8 in front of the table saw I was pushing the 2x into the blade. the SawStop rifled a broke off staple at my head, hitting me on my left nostril. It didn’t stick in but was bleeding quite well! SawStop might not cut your fingers off but it hit you between the eyes with debris. Love me some stapled on tags!

Now you need a polycarbonate face mask! I have backed off my turning lately, but when I do, I wear a full acrylic/polycarbonate face mask.
