Seriously, it looks like he is starving to death and dehydrated. It’s probably too cold for him outside. I have lots of them in the yard shrubbery and garden and have to look out for them when spraying anything! My father had a serious following of Green Anole lizards in his yard and greenhouse. He would feed them bits of raw hamburger and they would flock to greet him.
When they get into my screen room I have to catch them for relocation outside on the flowers where they can catch insects and get water. If they stay in the screen room too long they look like this one, before they turn into a petrified stick.-
It got up to about 80°F today 65°F in the morning. I hope he finds the garden more to his liking, shouldn't be too cold for him. They get dehydrated in the house and garage, like you say. I have a fondness for them.Last edited by LCHIEN; 02-09-2026, 09:45 PM.
