      DHS may have actually needed 100, it could have been a typo on the RFQ! I could believe that.

        Forget Snopes the straight scoop comes direct from the DHS, this is the document that was sent to the Senator who requested the information about their ammo purchases. It clearly shows over a hundred million rounds purchased in each of the last three years. There is no mistake or typo three times my friends. I posted it before on post #8, but here it is again if anyone missed it:

          Interesting - I never would have guessed they are shooting 70 million rounds a year for training. Given that is essentially all government law enforcement usage combined, though, I guess that's not all that surprising.

          Interesting question, though, is why there is a shortage now, when that document indicates they have been shooting in the range of 70M per year for many years.

            Decocker and clip release are ambidextrous (I have both lefties and righties in the family), barrel release is not.
