          I'm sorry to admit I had forgotten about the impending surgery. I very glad to hear it went well. I will be praying for continued recovery.

                  She is still in ICU and will be for a few more days. I got to visit with her for about 10 minutes and she was awake and responsive. She is off the vent and all systems are go. Blood oxygen, pulse, BP all looked really good. The incision was truly amazing. Probably about 6 inches long and was nothing more than a dark line. Super glue to the rescue!

                  We truly appreciate everyone's prayers and could not have made it through this far with out them. She isn't quite "out of the woods" yet, but she can see the clearing up ahead!

                                Excellent news, Sam. I'm sure you and she are relieved. My mother-in-law had a heart replacement done 12 years ago and going strong. Things will be fine..
