Update:
We came home Friday afternoon. She's doing great, and she is much more comfortable here than at the hospital. A home health nurse is due to come Monday to change the dressing on her pic line since she can't ride in the car quite yet. She will keep the pic line and will be taking IV antibiotics for 6 more weeks. Since she had the abscess inside the heart, they want to make sure they totally kill the veggies.
I have been cleaning and doing laundry non-stop. Things pile up quick! We are blessed with A BUNCH of great friends and family members who are keeping us well fed, I am trying to stay on Weight Watchers through all of this and they are making it difficult! Case in point... last night's dinner: Country Ham & biscuits, hash brown cassarole, green beans & fruit cocktail cake!
Again, we are very fortunate to have friends and family from all over the world who take care of our physical, spiritual and emotional needs. BT3Central is a LARGE part of that support system!!!Sam Conder

You're probably going to be to read this an other posts for a while, Sam, but know that the thoughts and prayers of yours and Adele's brothers and sisters are with you folks - thankful and praising God for this miracle in your life.
