I was in Rome this summer and the motor scooters there were like fleas on traffic.
At every stop light, the cars would stop. Then the scooters arrive one by one and would zip around the stopped cars in between or sneak ahead of them, even using the opposing traffic lane. When the light turned green, off they'd speed off like a swarm leaving the cars behind. Really amazing.
