    Your favorite signs

Let's hear about your favorite signs, but they have to be real. I have two.

    1. Directly in front of the doors to the Church, there was a sign near the curb
    "Thou shalt not park".

    2. A sign in front of a dentist's office in Terre Haute, IN read "Dr. Holler, DDS".
I always wondered if that affected his business.

I've seen a couple of doozies, one was a derivative of the unattended children one.

"Unattended Children with be given a double shot latte and a free puppy." (One of those email pic signs, no idea where it was).

"No photography allowed". Sign in a window of a camera shop in Newport Oregon.

And one from a favorite burger joint from High School.
"If you want it bad, you'll get it bad. The worse you want it, the worse you'll get it." Snooker's Drive In. Philomath Oregon. (Been gone for a lot of years now. Darned pity too. Best darned hamburgers on the planet aside from King Kone in Albany Oregon...

Sign on the "stylists" in our shopping center (at least there is a cute one):

Signs, by themselves, no biggy, but (no name) Meat company, next door to Animal shelter.

A for sale by owner sign, in front of a church. (never could get a hold of him)

Climax and HEdouble hockey stick are cities in Michigan. Big Beaver Road is really exit 69 in the Detroit Suburb area.

hehe, the filter didn't like that city's name.

Where I grew up the local bike repair shop had a sign that said something like:

                              Repair Labor Rates:
                              If you leave it: 10/hr
If you want to stay and watch: 20/hr
If you want to stay and help: 40/hr
If you tried to fix it yourself first: 80/hr
If you tried to fix it yourself and now want to tell us how to fix it: You can't afford it
                              David

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.
