When I ended my military tour, I joined a gun club that used two different ranges. Both were indoor, but a lot of fun. I would load up my firearms in a gym bag and head off for a couple of hours. A lot different than in the Army. No wind or terrain to deal with and nobody shooting back.
One of the ranges had a special area for magnums and large bore. I would normally use the numbered circular targets, and at times put up the "bad guy" human figure targets. They had a optional "moving" target holder that would sway your target at different speeds which made it real interesting.
I found it both relaxing and challenging, and good for hand/eye coordination. Any other shooters here?

). We have a area we shoot with a pond down in a revene where we target shoot. One of the things that I enjoy most is trap shooting. If you haven't done trap or sporting clays it is very enjoyable and always different. I love shooting trap and have done it since I recieved my first .410 shotgun when I was 6. My parents have obviously never been anti gun which has allowed me to have these experiences. I do think that it is very important to teach children about gun safety as a woodworker would teach you about shop safety.
