Site Outage Tuesday February 7th

There will be a site outage from 5 - 8 pm to upgrade the database and the site software.

Once in a while things work smoothly exactly to plan. The outage is complete.

The site upgrade installed a newer release of our database software which should marginally increase performance. Whether the performance increase is enough for any of us to notice is to be determined.

A new feature creates previews of links when posted in a thread. There have been some reports that this feature has caused performance issues. If anyone notices long load times for threads that have links in them, please let us know.
