    final image test

    or as code { instead of [ :
    {img}http://blackwalnutjigs.com/images/2x6b.JPG{/img}

    image code does not seem to work as it formerly did, must be something new. Now the tag is "IMG" where is formerly was "IMAGE"

      Final thoughts are to use the software built in image in-line icon above and cut/paste the url from your image regardless of if hosted off site or if hosted onsite.

        I'm not sure what you mean about cut and paste the url, we may not be seeing the same screens that the moderators?
        I clicked the 3rd from right icon, it replied with an insert image box with 2 choices, from computer or from url. I select from computer and the box changes to take photo or video or from photo library, I choose photo library, find me select photo and then click the upload files button. Up to this point I can not escape out of this box, say I can't find my photo, (these are really small selection boxes on an iPad, don't see how it could be used on a phone) or have clicked the wrong photo. Upload photo selection changes color but I don't know if it is working or not, sometimes it reacts quickly, sometimes 15 minutes, I have tried to upload several photos but it seems to replace the original.
        Is my process correct?

          Wow, I don't know where those last 2 photos come from, must have dragged my finger across them or something! Opps so much for not being able to add more than one photo, wish I knew how I did it now.

                Both of these photos were uploaded from my ipad. In order to do this, you need to select a photo from your photo library or camera roll, and click on the words Upload File(s) right below where it says Choose File. Then before you try to upload the next photo, you need to tap somewhere in the message screen so your current photo isn't selected, or it will be replaced by the next photo you upload.

                As far as using the iPad for this, you're right in that mobile screens in the standard style don't work well. This is much better in version 5 of vbulletin, but that is months away at best. I'll do some testing with the mobile style that was added a few days ago and see if uploading is easier. I had to zoom the screen on my full size ipad to hit the buttons accurately. I don't think I could even do it on a phone.

                For the URL, when you click on the image icon, you are given the choice between uploading "From URL" or "From Computer" which are tabs at the top of the box that show up. The URL would be for an image that is stored on a web server somewhere that you want to copy here. you would need to give the address of the image itself, and not the address of the web page the image is displayed from.

                  Another test of uploading images from an ipad using the mobile style. Using the mobile style, there isn't even the option to upload photos. It looks like we need a tutorial on this subject. I'll write an article in the next few days and post it.
