AM I having a senior moment or is there not "reply with quote" buttons around? I wanted to reply to a post yesterday, and wanted to include a quote from three posts up, but I couldn't find a "reply with quote". I did see someone else had a reply with quote in another thread. So, how do we do it?

Please forgive this senior moment, but I have checked every button I could find.

Well, it showed up suddenly. See reply below.

Oh, I see "Quote" at the bottom, but it was not there yesterday. It must be my Safari browser. I have been having some trouble with some things and buttons loading on some sites sometimes. It is not the sites, but my Safari. I guess it hit me on this site.

    Sorry about the post.

          You guys are great!

I have been thinking and thinking that over. No, I had not been drinking, nor was I on meds!

The other day, I looked and looked for the "quote" button which is 2nd from the left on the bottom right. It was not there. The next day also. I wanted to ask then but was tied up with work. Then I posted the question and lo and behold, it was there!

Last week, I was having some problems with Safari on a couple of other issues, and had commented on a forum that deals with those. The main problem was that recently with Safari open, and on specific sites, my laptop was getting hot and the fan was on excessively. BTW, I run a beta version of Mac software. So that might have had something to do with it.

Yeah, something about slow electrons being the cause of all odd technical behavior. That's what the Astronomy Profs back at Cornell in the 70's told me.

Well, it happened again. I opened Bill's "Upgrading to EVS" on his lathe. No "Quote" buttons or "Post Reply" buttons. I opened with a different browser and everything is normal. My troublesome browser is Safari - again using beta OS which includes some beta code for Safari, apparently. I opened with Vivaldi and it works fine.
