If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Thanks guys - now I don't feel like I have too many. Turns out I can have some more
I have 3 routers
1. Ryobi R165U - this is my first router.
2. Ryobi Handheld Cordless - This baby has become my go-to router. So much more maneuverable and performer.
3. Bosch 1617EVSPK - Fixed & Plunge base kit. Bought it last year but haven't had a chance to use it since shortly after buying it I have been dealing with my back problem. Hopefully will see some use now.
Also, the Bosch is my first router with 1/2" collet - so I can start acquiring some beefier bits now. So far both my Ryobi routers had been 1/4" collets so that is the only size bits I have bought so far.

I'd forgotten all those polls. I wonder how many I had back in '06... As of today, I have 5:
- 1/2in Skil router in my auxiliary table
- 1/2in Craftsman in my router table
- Second of same Craftsman for free-hand use
- Craftsman C3 trim router, 1/4in (battery)
- HF trim router, 1/4 in
I recently inherited a sixth router from a friend, a JC Penney router! Still worked, I didn't recall JCP selling tools (just never look there, and wonder who made them), but I also got a JCP jig saw (also still operating) - ended up donating both to a worthy cause
I also have router bits and base for my Dremel - but didn't count that.Bill in Buena ParkComment
