    Pneumatic staple gun

I noticed that while at work the staple guns seem to need repairs more often on days when thers water in the lines. Can anyone who knows about Pneumatic staple guns (automatic if it matters) tell me if the condensation has anything to do with it or am I just crazy.

I would imagine that condensation is bad for any gun. But as long as it's not too bad, and as long as you oil your tools, I wouldn't think it'd have that big of an effect.

Then again, to be sure an inline dryer is pretty cheap to get....

do you use driers, lubricators, or at least put a few drops of oil into the tool air inlet at the beginning of each work session? (day or half a day).
If its a hardworking commercial application, then driers and lubricators should probably be used.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

I use a dryer and filter in line, and always add a drop or two of air tool oil every time I take up a half shift timeframe...

How often do you drain water from your air compressor tank(s)?
