I got a Fein Turbo III for Christmas. I was not planning on getting it until mid Jan at the earliest. But the day after we arrived home (Tuesday, 21st) LOML asked why I didn't have the vac there already! 
She wanted to use it! I ordered it then! And it arrived on the 24th!
The background for LOML wanting this was that our daughter who lived in our home and kept it up, but only lived in three rooms - bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with the rest of the house closed off. After 4 1/2 years of little activity, lots of dust, dust bunnies, and spider webs under things and in corners, the first thing LOML suggested was a good strong utility vac.
Back in the fall, I wrote and asked on this thread about sanders. At the time, I had totally decided on the Fein, however I almost moved up to a Festool vac. I stayed with the Fein because of its slightly lower db noise. For me, the lower noise, even it it was 4 to 5 db, was the clincher, although the Festool has the better storage for components.
My first impressions is that it has a great sucking power but it is still a little more noisier than I was expecting. It sounds like a small house vac, still not as loud as a normal shop vac. I can still carry on a conversation and hear the phone ring with the Fein, which is what I wanted. The Fein only came with a 2 1/4 in hose with no other attachments. I ordered the "Mr. Nozzle" 15 ft. 1 1/2 in. set to go with it. I was surprised at the toughness of the Mr. Nozzle set and will definitely use it with the Fein.
Operating and using the Fein: I like the switched outlet and the vac/speed control. I was a little surprised at the size of the Turbo III in that it was not quite as large as I was expecting. I have a large Sears shop vac that sounds like a jet engine and the Turbo III is a little more compact even thought it is a 15 gallon. It rolls around easily and is much smoother than pulling the Sears shop vac around. The 15 foot Mr. Nozzle hose is quite heavy duty and goes well with the Fein, even the color looks like it was made for the Fein.
My next purchase will be the Festool Rotex 150. By all reviews that I have read, it is head and shoulders above any other, plus the fact of how versital it is with its settings.
I know some of you will question the price and my sanity but when compared to the $2000 - $3000 to remove the current peeling paint in the 80 year old kitchen and re-finish, it will be a bargain, plus the fact that I will have what I need to work on the rest of the house. I also will have to remove all of the carpet in the LR and DN and wish to refinish the old oak flooring. After reading one of the reviews of the Rotex 150, refinishing a floor is very doable with the 6 inch sander and a good Vac. I will add a 1 micron filter when I start the actual sanding.
