Used Grizzly drill press worth $125?

Is a used Grizzly G1200 drill press worth $125? I saw one today that was in
working order. I think it's a 14" drill press. Everything moved well. The
column is rusty but a little WD40 would take care of that. The table moves up
and down with relative easy using the hand crank. Nothing seems to be
    binding.

It's rated at 1/2 HP. The only comparable one on Grizzly's site is 3/4 for
    $325.

I have a small benchtop drill press that has served all my needs. I don't NEED
this but I can't pass up a good deal. I know I can make it fit in my shop.

I'm not a big DP user. What am I missing if I don't upgrade to this bigger one?
It would be more convenient because of the cranking table. I cut mortises
    with a router.

    Thanks,
    Paul

FWIW, I have a 3/4 HP DP and wish I had a 1 HP or better...

I took the time to look up the referenced model. It is...
benchtop, or floor model? floor (49" vertical capacity)
      # Speeds and range? 12 spd; 250 to 3100 rpm
      Chuck size, stroke? 5/8", 3.0"
swing: 14"? not stated but the table is 12" dia. and looks like 1" of clearance to the column plus your statement.

Its real nice to have more speeds, more stroke, more swing, and bigger clearance over a small benchtop, as well as horsepower. Sometimes you need to drill big or deep holes, then the chuck size, swing and HP and speed range all come into play. this unit is good in most respects, but the strok is limited (but not awful) and maybe the P could be more.

If you are totally happy with the small benchtop then OK. It sounds like all you want is the crank, which is after all something.
If you really want more DP, then you have to consider all the above. For $125 it would be a good step up.
You really need the HP when drilling large holes and the motor may stall. If you don't do 1.5 - 2-3" forstners then you may be OK with 1/2 HP
