    Where can I find....

Five star knobs all types, cheaper than Grainger, McMaster. I went to local Woodcraft and not much selection and the BORG's do not seem to carry that kind of stuff.

    Thanks in advance
I am in shape. Round is a shape!

Can you give a better description? Like what size, and finish.

I get a lot of my shop jig knobs from t-nuts.com.

I use a mess of T track these days, I grabbed a bunch of the Universal T Track Kits from Rockler, so I have a lot of 5/16" T bolts, and 5 wing knobs. If I were buying just knobs or T bolts though, I would go through tnuts.com as they are certainly low cost, and support BT3Central...

I've not checked every possible vendor, but among the usual suspects the cheapest of which I'm aware is Woodpeckers. Example: 1/4-20 thru-hole star knobs are 75 cents for Quantity 1; decreases to 60 cents each if you buy 10. By comparison, Rockler's regular price for the same thing is nearly two bucks.

One problem with small items like knobs is that if that's all you're ordering, the shipping charges can easily be as much as the merchandise. Nowadays I get most of my jig and fixture supplies from Lee Valley. Their knobs are not as cheap as Woodpecker's, but I order from LV fairly often, and will usually add a few knobs or bags of hardware any time I can do so without bumping the shipping charge up to the next increment.

YMMV but all my local hardware stores carry a small selection. They have specialty fastener plastic boxes near other normal fasteners. The prices are not great but if I only need one or two and do not have to pay shipping........ It is also possible that the Borg has them also in their specialty hardware section although I've not looked; if they do it is also pretty likely that only a few employees know of them. So the guy or gal in the tool crib may not know hardware stock.

This 5 star knob may interest you. It's a quick release knob.
