BT3000 with INCRA LS25

The union's BT3000 with the INCRA LS25 need for adaptations?

Welcome to the forum. Was there a question in there? Are you asking if this would be a good fit, if any have added one to their saw, or if any have replaced their stock rip fence with the Incra system?

IIRC Jointech made an adaptation that mated their fence system to the BT3K.

AFter looking at the link the OP posted, It looks like he / she is talking about an Incra Micro Adjustable standard system router table fence. I am assuming then that the original poster is asking can you combine, or use (the union) the Incra LS Standard System router fence with the BT3x00 saws.

From what I can read on the web site provided, that fence appears to be far more than just a fence, but a table top, insert, and fence all in one deal. And while it may be possible to modify this table to fit as a drop in item on or over the BTs rails, I would not think this would be a wise move.

Perhaps a better option would be to set up a dedicated router cabinet for the Incra instead?

I assume the OP is looking for a router fence, not a table saw rip fence?
While the BT3x00 saws do have the capability of adding a router I think this is a matter of a minimal router setup for low cost and convenience. If you are going to add an expensive fence such as the Incra LS it needs a standalone router table both from the point of matching cost/performance and also needing a larger area table top to support the longish arm of the fence.

I haven't heard of anyone adapting that Incra fence / table top to the rails of the saw. The Jointech isn't all that different from the Incra, which makes me wonder why they charge so much more for it.


I will again recommend that you build a dedicated cabinet for this purpose.

If you look at the Mobile BT3s section of the Articles page of BT3Central you will find a wealth of information on building mobile cabinets that integrate the saw with rolling cabinets. Perhaps if you are using standard length rails you could put the Incra fence and top where the extension rails would otherwise be?

Just in case and for what its worth I have an Incra LS that I once attempted to use as a table saw fence (its easy to do). In theory it setup well and was easy to set parallel to the blade. However when actually using it the far end of the fence would move away from the blade when cutting. The fence is only supported in the middle so the ends can move a little under moderate to strong pressure. As a router fence on a dedicated table, I love it.

Well, I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I thought I would show you what I have done with my setup. I am using a Incra LS17 with my saw and it works quite well for me - YMMV.
The table extension is made from MDF and the top is Vinyl tile that I got from the Borg. Although the top is softer than I wanted - it is working out well. I don't know how long it will hold up - only time will tell. If the top wears out sooner than later - they are cheap to replace.
I don't use the Incra as a saw fence - I think it would work OK - I just use the original rip fence that came with the saw.

That is one magnificent set-up. I am envious and much better functionality on the extension on the BT3100 than on my stand alone router table. Kudos to you for such a great way to do it.

Here are a few pictures of my router table. Not really pretty by very functional and easy to build. I have a tall fence attached to the Incra for use when making door panels with a vertical bit. Fence is Corian.

Nice setup SKB, whats the piece of wood under the SMT, is this to just protect your hips from bashing into the sharp corners? I know I do this all the time
