I went into HF today and saw that fence - gosh its heavy. I think it could work well for a DP table but the bit opening and DC is rather small.

The fence I just made for my table probably only cost ~$10 primarily for the knobs and T-Bolts.

I still got 2 for myself at $10 a piece earlier this week. I think all the parts are worth it. There's several knobs, tbolts, miter track inserts, stop block, plus the fence extrusions & steel angle.

Good point, I hadnt thought about it that way, I may have to go back and get one for the same reason.

I wonder about the possibility of mounting it to a miter gauge for a table saw to make a longer gauge. Kinda like Norm's Osborne on the cheap.

This item is not available online. So it is probably available only in HF stores.

Sounds like it is being discontinued, or already has been. There was a -D at the end of the HFusa part number. I bet that means discontinued. The price I was getting in the store would lead me to believe it was on clearance, even though the shelf tag didn't say so.

Get 'em while the getting is good.

My local store had 2, now 1, and it says clearance. Bill
