      Good idea, 'Tom'. Hadn't thought of it. I'll have to give it a try. If I'm short of my desired measurement the number will tell me how large the deficiency. And, if I'm over I'll get a negative number and I'll know how screwed up I really am - LOL!

        I have bought computer parts, game items for my daughters and flashlights. They have items direct from Japan and China that I have never seen anywhere eles. Buy the 10pk. GP batteries are a major manufacturer and they do run down in the caliper. A duracell 357 batt costs $4. I have several other tools , toys that use them too. I am going to order the 3v batt. for my Wixey digital tools now and xenon tatical flashlight bulbs that are very hard to find. I think I found them from slickdeals.net.
