5 years ago I worked at Sears and got a great deal on a Makita cordless drill. That drill has been dropped many times and still runs strong. It is by far the most used tool as it is used in carpentry and any other odd job around the house.

Never ever been able to really figure out, most usefull due to cost. Most of my shop has been gifts, so the cost to me was nothing (mostly from helping out or doing OPP).
Least usefull is easy. I received a regift from a "friend" (see the gift and you'll understand), of a Craftsman 14.4 cordless drill and trim saw. Doesn't use a quick charger, and the drill barely holds it charge better then the saw which MIGHT (on a good day) be able to cut through three boards (NO bigger then a 2x4). However the same friend gave me a 9.6 makita as a housewarming present, that still works great to this day.
Otherwise, it would be my $25 4 1/8" Craftsman jointer.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
