I always liked the name "wombat". Makes me think of wombs with lots of bats hanging from their ceilings. Or another way of describing the activities of legendary Amazons. But, seriously, is it an aboriginal word? Any literal translation?
        According to m-w.com:
Etymology: Dharuk (Australian aboriginal language of the Port Jackson area) wambat

Beautiful as always, Rod. I wish I could make furniture that looks as good as your jigs.

Once again your "shop aids" look better than my finished pieces. Great work!

As usual the best looking jigs I've ever seen.

Where is the cross-cut sled ?? Did I miss that, or has it not been made yet ??

Those stops are a real nice addition and will help in repetitive cut. (Which means I need to add them to mine )

Two bats were hanging together having a conversation. "Does old age worry you?" asks one. "Nope" replies the other, "but incontinence does!"

                            good morning,

both the links dont seem to work?

it goes without saying, extremely superb work. i love you clean and nice looking jigs and shop.

by the way, what kind of a blade is used when you cut those clear plastic pieces?

                            regards

I have noted a number of posts where the link no longer work. Changed format, maybe?

Anyway, I took some to search for these threads with Mr. Kirby's sled (the search function is not really powerful) :

warning : somehow, after I am done being impressed, these impeccable jigs are somewhat depressing to me (like, 'look at that really tall peak I have yet to scale... ') :
