New posts not bumping again?

What was the work around for the earlier problem of a new post in and old thread not bumping to the unread or recent post section?

There is really no fix for it on our site currently, but it should show in the "New Posts" list, The problem is in the thread view so "New Topics" and "Recent Posts" both have the problem. There is a fix for it in the newest version of vBulletin, but it will take some time to get that tested and installed.

I just joined and tried posting through Tapatalk both on the pro and regular version, it’s not showing up.
