    Any way to hide the fund-drive header?

    I'm glad we've reached the goal, and I just happened to re-up myself, but the fund-drive announcement takes up a lot of screen real estate... Is there a way that I can toggle that off in my profile anywhere?

    If not, would it be possible to perhaps reduce the font size and amount of whitespace so it's not quite so big?

      Was going to post the same.

      With a wide screen monitor, there are no topics that come up when you get a link.

      It could be condensed to a much shorter display or placed in the sidebar.

          Don't hold your breath. I asked for just that on March 4th, but I guess I'm not the right person to have asked.

            I have to wonder what is behind such a comment! I've never know Sam to play favorites when it comes to suggestions by forum members. If I had the permissions to change or remove the banner I already would have done so.

              You can do it in Firefox with the Stylish add-on by adding the style:

              PHP Code:
              @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
              @-moz-document domain("www.bt3central.com") {
              #pagenav_menu + table[class="tborder"] { display: none }
              }

              Please Note: If part of the site suddenly disappears after an administrative site structure change (not common), then click on the Stylish icon at the bottom right corner of the browser window and select "Turn all styles off" to see if the add-on is the cause. If it is, just disable the style.

                BW, what do you mean you "have to wonder what is behind such a comment"? I see nothing diabolical about Ray's post. I doubt very much if he had any other motive than to state the this was not the first time this request has been made.

                      what really needs to be done with the donation banner is display it big for those who haven't contributed, and don't show it (or show a very small condensed version) for those who have.

                            With all due respect... I dis-agree and here's why! I sent a re-new my suscription check in Febuary 27.. As of this moment the check has not been cashed.. my avatar is missing and I still get the message your subscription run out in the User CP. I believe Uncle Cracker was and still may be in the same boat.

                            I opened a thread after a month to ask if possibly the check could have been lost. No response other than it would be looked into so I truly have no earthly clue if the check is in hand or possibly lost. If it was lost I could have re-issued one long ago.

                            So with that said.. it isn't really a big deal on Avatar.. message about sub running out as I don't get my shorts in a wad over trivial things and I definitely consider all those trivial. But... there are some that do and to display the banner largely on their screen and not on others that have had their checks deposited and subscription re-newed might possibly start a small revolution of "not right" amongst the ranks.

                            Have a good day all...
