    DC Hose and Clamps

I'm having trouble getting flex hose to stay attached to a standard metal blast gate. I'm using automotive-style 4" steel band clamps but I wonder if I should be using the wire style instead.

Oops. Just read a couple reviews on Amazon and wire clamps clearly are the way to go.

Wire clamps are good, the "Bridge" type clamps are better...

Best prices I have seen on wire clamps is from Kencraft...

Careful with some of the bridge clamps. I've got a few rockler ones. They work with my Rockler hoses but not so well with my woodcraft hoses. The hose I got from woodcraft spirals the other direction.

Talk about targeted advertising...the banner ad at the top when I viewed this page was an Amazon ad with 3 different types of hose clamps.

Refresh your screen. Maybe you'll see the banner for Rockler Bench Cookies...
